infoPatent searcher is the innovative tool to formulate patent searches.
Using the command text field complex queries can be formulated. As a data base there are approx. 67 million patent documents available. Details can be found under the heading "Download" after having registered.
Field indicators of text, title, abstract, date, number, IPC, ECLA, citations can be combined with operators and will be provided with wildcards. Operators such as Boolean operators, several distance operators, equality operators and interval operators are available. Wildcards for arbitrary word length, one character, one or no character, may be used.
As a result of your query you will receive immediate a hit list with an overview of the found patent families. You get more detailed information selecting some hits. Thus, it can be decided immediately whether the query needs to be refined. Now there is the possibility to create a monitoring process from the research (infoPatent monitor) or to obtain the patent families one-time (infoPatent loader) including the worldwide available patent information!
The research with infoPatent searcher or with other tools is the first step in the process chain and is used to obtain numbers of a preliminary selection of relevant families. Then their content can be examined even automatically with the help of other tools for relevance.
