Data coverage:

  • Sem-IP.com is based on globally available full-text documents (description and/or claims) and abstracts in English, German, French, Spanish and others.
  • Currently included are full-texts of these countries: US, EP, WO, DE, FR, GB, BE, CA, AT, CH, ES and AU.
  • Also included are English language abstracts from JP, CN, KR and AR. Newly available sources, e.g. IN, are continuously added as they become available.
  • All data will be updated at least once a week.

In the diagram below, you will find the patent offices ranked by their number of patent applications in 2005. Offices, the patents of which are offered in Sem-IP.com, are highlighted in yellow color. As you can see, all major patent offices are included here.
